Our political system is broken. We can't wait for politicians to fix what they've broken - or at the very least, what they inherited and refused to fix. It will be up to "We the People" to push our state and national representatives to endorse and pass a comprehensive list of political and election reforms.

 

Our representatives will have a choice to be Reformers or Obstructors. Reformers will be supported and Obstructors will lose their next election and be replaced by Reformers.

 

Political courage is rare, especially when the major funders and the party leaders oppose reforms - they don't want to lose their power. Concentrated power creates corruption. Power needs to be spread out to ALL of the members of each legislature (both legislative bodies in each state, the US Senate, and the US House of Representatives), and each legislature needs to vote according to the interests of the vast majority of the people they represent INSTEAD OF the major donors and the Super PACs that spend millions to elect them.
